The idea for this business was born in early 2007 while attending the house concerts at Pretoria Boys High School.  A number of young ladies from the sister school, Girls High, were also excitedly attending.  It was noticed that one in particular had shortened and fastened her hem by way of a series of staples!

Initially the thought was to counter the unfortunate fact that girls no longer learn to sew at school.  Soon a greater demand became apparent when girls of all ages enquired about the classes!  It was discovered that the students were to be of diverse background, age and skill.  But, no matter who you are or what profession you want to practice, the motto here is steadfast;

Everyone should addítionally acquire the skill to repair that hem or sew back the odd loose button neatly, just because they can!

Classes are presented in a   "once a week,  over nine weeks" format  on the INTRODUCTION  TO SEWING COURSE. (COURSE 1)
